Since 2018 we have a unit with a composting license at Xiro Pigadi in the area of Mandra, fully certified with ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and 50001, concerning the quality of its products, the care about the protection of the environment, the safe work place for its employees as well as the minimization of its energy consumption, where organic non-hazardous waste is being processed through composting. Organic waste is composted and converted by natural processes into compost, which is a soil conditioner-fertilizer. In this way we contribute to the circular economy, we reduce the energy footprint of the institutions we work with and at the same time we strengthen the reciprocity of the citizens through the local authorities that we work with.

Continuing our development in this field and fully harmonized with domestic and EU legislation, we expand our activities to a new composting unit of 3000 sq.m., acquiring new equipment, while at the same time we are now active in the SAS (sorting at source) and the processing of biodegradable waste of municipalities ( brown bucket), producing not only high quality soil conditioners but also in collaboration with research organizations, products that aim at plant protection against pathogens.

Our company undertakes integrated services for the management and composting of organic waste:

• Biowaste processing in order to recover useful materials, done in our own composting unit
• Shredding of non-reusable wood pallets and generally useless (non-hazardous) timber
• Production of soil compost
• Shredding and management services for branches, garden / park and bulk waste
• Waste volume reduction services through compression or shredding processes
• Transfer of branches or bulky waste to municipalities for composting
