At GEOFOS we recognize that corporate responsibility and the direction of sustainable development is a goal of paramount importance. It is a collective effort that has implemented the network of values “ethics, mutual respect, honesty”.

Our environmental awareness is kept alive, as we believe that rational environmental management and the adoption of green business principles are of direct concern to us.

In the context of corporate social responsibility, we propose to municipalities the implementation of actions like “Adoption of trees- plants”. The aim of these actions is:

• The mobilization and participation of the citizens for the maintenance of public green spaces,
• The improvement of the green image of cities,
• The briefing as well as the awareness of everyone about the green environment, the biodiversity of plants etc.

Through the implementation of such actions, each Municipality will define the planting area (in accordance to the relevant legislation) as well as the type of tree that will be planted and will assign to each volunteer his own, so that they will undertake its watering. We will take care of the fertilizer, the pruning and all the other works as GEOFOS in cooperation with the Green Service of the respective Municipality.
