Having dynamically entered the field of collection and transportation of biodegradable waste of Municipalities (brown bin) with the acquisition of modern equipment and professional staff, we provide the best economic solution with the minimum harvest time.

We study the quantitative and qualitative characteristics of the generated waste of the study area, we set goals as defined by the Legislation and we carry out the study in two phases.

Phase A includes recording and thorough analysis of the indicative production data of the study area such as:

• The number of waste bins within the spatial limits set by the customer
• The quantitative and qualitative characteristics of the produced urban solid waste
• The weak points of the collection-transfer process of urban solid waste as it is today
• At the same time, future goals are set as defined by the Legislation

In Phase B the step-by-step description of the required way of working is planned, from the initial stage of the on-site counting of the bins to the final stage and optimization. In summary:

• An on-site counting of the bins is made
• The available data are processed
• An optimal bin – space layout methodology is developed through GIS
• The optimal route of garbage trucks through GIS, Google Earth, Google Map is also developed
• An alternative layout space plan of the bins with optimization criteria is proposed
• An alternative collection-transfer plan of urban solid waste with optimization criteria is proposed

Following the above methodology in full, our company is able to help the collaborating Municipalities to develop an integrated and beneficial proposal for its citizens, concerning the better management of their biodegradable waste, while contributing to sustainable development at the local community level. In short, Municipalities will be able to:

• To return a part of the produced compost from the waste to their citizens as a means of reciprocity while applying what the new Legislation provides in this context.
• Determine the exact quantitative and qualitative goal of the generated waste as provided by Law 4042.
• They save additional resources from travel costs and operating costs in general, which can later be used to finance other sectors.
